Place Capital Group work with the UK’s largest local authorities and housing associations as a strategic development partner to deliver the transformation of ageing housing estates, providing quality affordable homes, and putting place making front and centre of all plans.
Following a successful year at UKREiiF 2023, Place Capital Group have secured another session at next year’s UKREiiF event, where over 10,000 developers, investors, occupiers, and local authorities are expected to attend. We will take centre stage on Wednesday 22nd May in the Dockside Pavilion for our session: ‘Estate Renewal in the New Era of Regeneration and Housing Delivery’. In the session, we will discuss how estate renewal and social housing-led regeneration can sit at the heart of a comprehensive approach to place-based regeneration and play a central strategic role in driving the development pipeline whilst improving the lives of our communities in.
Speaking of their involvement David Smith-Milne, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Place Capital Group, said: “We’re excited to be attending UKREiiF for the second time in 2024. Last year’s event proved to be incredibly successful and enabled us to establish a number of new partner relationships which we confidently expect to develop into some exciting projects later in the new year. For the 2024 event, our session will focus on our core, and proven expertise; housing delivery and estate renewal, and our belief that, for any local authority or large social housing provider, both should be a central driver in the development of a wider, place-based regeneration strategy. Again, we believe UKREiiF is the perfect place and forum to discuss this notion with a wider and influential audience”
Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re thrilled to have Place Capital Group on board for the third UKREiiF event. Following a successful session in 2023, we eagerly anticipate their contribution to the discourse on estate renewal and social housing-led regeneration at the Dockside Pavilion on May 22nd. Place Capital Group's dedication to comprehensive place-based regeneration aligns seamlessly with the core values of UKREiiF, and we look forward to the insights they will share, shaping the dialogue around the future of urban development."
Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the third annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 21-23 May 2024. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
