We delighted to be attending this year’s Social Housing Annual Conference and Inside Housing Development and Regeneration Summit taking place at 155 Bishopgate, London, on Thursday, 30th November.
We will be taking to the stage in the Bishopgate Suite for our session Toward Impact-led Regeneration. Along with David Smith-Milne, our CEO, we’ll be joined on stage by other key sector leaders and stakeholders to discuss how we can leverage Homes England’s renewed focus on regeneration to boost housing supply while creating thriving places and mixed communities for the long term. The session will take place in the Bishopgate Suite, and starts at 11.30.
The session will ask a number of important questions including; How can the sector utilise partnerships to exercise regeneration at pace, scale and with vision – not just for cities and towns, but also for estates? How can we ensure places have enough homes of the right type and tenure? How can the housing sector engage better with the economic and infrastructure agenda within regeneration, and how can we maximise the social benefits that can be realised for communities?
If you’re unable to attend our session in the Bishopgate Suite, you can also find us at our stand in the main exhibition hall where you will be able find, meet and chat with e key members of the Place Capital team.
Speaking of the event, our CEO, David Smith-Milne said: “We’re excited to be taking part in this year’s conference and sponsoring our session in Bishopgate Suite where we expect some lively and insightful conversation. This is our first appearance at the event and follows several exciting conversations with local authorities and providers in the London boroughs in recent months. It also marks our committed expansion and entry into the London housing delivery and estate renewal space, where we plan to replicate the innovative and impactful work we’re currently leading with our partners in the North.”
